Best part of this cover is the Givenchy suit. Seriously what did they do to Georgina May Jagger's face because it looks not human. I see that Harper's Bazaar was trying to go for a mermaid, ocean theme but, bad photoshop ruined it. Photographer, Alexi Lubomirski, should make sure to use less photoshop next time.

Top Fashion Designers Create Pugs for Charity

Online fashion retailer, Luisaviaroma.com, teamed up with top fashion designers and the toy company Steiff to create one of a kind pugs for charity. All of the proceeds of the sales of the one of a kind pugs will go to UNICEF. Below or some of my favorite pugs by Viktor & Rolf, Guiseppe Zanotti and Mary Katrantzou. Supermodel, Karolina Kurkova, is on the February 2012 cover of Turkish Vogue. She is seen wearing the same amazing Dolce and Gabbana corset that is on the March 2012 cover of Vogue Japan and Prada jewels. Not my favorite cover I have seen but, she looks great in the Alexei Hay photograph.

Karlie and Prada look amazing together but, that font looks sooo cheap. Other then the cheap grey looking font, this is another great Vogue cover Karlie can add to her resume. How long until American Vogue gets Karlie? She has already covered TeenVogue...

It is available at several high-end retailers for $1150. It is an expensive investment but, a beautiful investment. The company even released a video to demonstrate this piece of work in action...see below!

Alexander McQueen's lower priced line, McQ, released it's S/S 2012 ad campaign. The ad continues the brands tradition of unique and strange ads. In the S/S 2012 ads a young muted woman is seen walking towards a young man. Gotta love the world of McQueen!!

Indie singing sensation, Lana del Rey, has landed one of her biggest magazine covers to date! She appears on the cover of the March issue of Vogue UK 2012, photographed by Mario Testino. The cover is slightly safe and again a piece from the Louis Vuitton S/S 2012 collection is on a magazine cover. Is she even considered fashionable?

Breaking News: Kate Moss 'W' Magazine March 2012

The March fashion issues are the second most important after September and 'W' magazine will feature supermodel Kate Moss on the cover!!! This is according to ADWEEK, which states that Kate will get dual covers photographed by the legendery Steven Klien. 'W' magazine all I can say is thank you becuase Kate and 'W' go perfect together. So excited to see the final result. Below is one of Kate's many amazing 'W' covers!

SAG Awards 2012 Fashion

The fashion at the 2012 SAG awards was overall very expected and I am sure you have seen all of the pics online but, I had to state that in my opinion the best dressed was Emma Stone in Alexander McQueen!! There is nothing like seeing an Alexander McQueen dressed done right on the red-carpet.

Is New 'Glamour' Magazine Better?

The new March 2012 issue of Glamour magazine has been released and it looks completely different than previous issues. First thought is Amanda Seyfried looks gorgeous as usual, the bold titles are different, less words on cover but, overall kinda interesting. It seems like Glamour wants to give its readers all the main points without any excess information on cover. Editor in chief Cindi Leive gave  WWD an interview were she explains that she wants to focus on young consumers, that now consume media in different forms and points out that most women's magazines have not changed their format in decades. Overall a new idea that might seem strange now, but will hopefully catch on.

This seems like an appropriate time to bring up the fact the American Vogue is about 'Who' wears the fashion and Italian Vogue is about 'Fashion.'

Even though January is not over yet, March magazine covers are already staring to make their way online. The latest is Elle UK, with Alexa Chung on the March 2012 cover. Alexa continues to be a huge force in the fashion world, recently winning a British Fashion Award and with her new show 24 Hour Catwalk on Lifetime. Alexa looks her usual uber cool self, but the real star of the cover are her amazing shoes!

Model Bianca Balti lands the March 2012 cover of Vogue Japan. She is wearing head to toe Dolce and Gabbana from the bustier, bag and jewels. That bustier is beyond worthy of a Vogue cover and then styled with the vegetable jewels, its just perfect styling. The stark white background and bright font are signatures of Vogue Japan, that help to make it stand out from the pack.

'Vintage Piece' Of The Day

In the December 2008 issue of American Vogue, photographer Annie Leibovitz showcased a 20 page spread inspired by the iconic film 'The Wizard of Oz.' Actress Keira Knightley starred in the spread as Dorthy along with several other famous cameos. This is seriously one of the best spreads that American Vogue has ever published. The execution is exquisite, the clothing is prominent, the concept is inspiring and THIS is what Vogue can do with all of the amazing creative people it has at its disposal.

The house of Versace returned to Paris Couture Fashion Week with a fifteen piece collection of showstopping dresses. (See full collection here)With the Oscars around the corner, the question will be if any of the gowns will mkae an apperance at the big event. Below are the top two looks of the collection. One is a strapless, backless orange gown that screams sex appeal. The other a cocktail length creation with an immense amount of intricate work and metal plate insets at the hips. Designer Ricardo Tisci presented another AMAZING men's collection for Givenchy F/W 2012. He continues to have a clear and concise idea of how a modern, forward thinking man could dress like. The collection had an American feel to it but, with the color scheme of red, white and black.(See the full collection Here)  He still showcased masculine skirts for the fall collection but, what stood out the most were the studded detail shirts. Legendary model Natalia Vodianova returns as the face of Stella McCartney for the S/S 2012 campaign photographed by Mert & Marcus. Stella's campaign's are always whimsical but, the colorful flowers surrounding Natalia are too distracting. Its difficult for the viewer to fully concentrate on the wonderful spring collection. Overall the campaign gets an 'A' for trying something new and interesting, even if the results are debatable.

Dior Couture is BACK!

The house of Dior presented during the first day of the Spring 2012 Paris Couture Fashion Week and the show was spectacular! The clothes were completely feminine, inspired by the famous "new silhouette" of Dior and wearable. The John Galliano fantasy element is gone but, so are the memories of the horrible Fall 2011 Couture collection. This seems to be a sign that the fashion house is finally progressing after the Galliano debacle. See the entire collection over at Style.com
